It is with great sadness that I need to announce that Graphic Display Systems will be sold or go out of business. Nearly fifty years ago, my father, Robert Tobias, created a system to display artwork in a convenient, affordable manner. He began creating displays in the basement of our family home. My mother, Jeanne Tobias, managed all of the tasks relating to the business side of the company. The business became quite successful and many employees and family members dedicated their lives to creating the displays and customer service. My parents passed away in 2015 and 2017 and I lost my dear brother, John Tobias, in 2018. Since this time, thanks to the dedication of my current employees, I have been keeping the business going. As I am retiring from teaching this year, I feel that it is time to sell the building and the business. This company was the passion of my dad. He loved what he did; making panels, customizing products, meeting with customers and employees, and tinkering with everything around the shop. Unfortunately, it is not my passion and the current business climate is making it difficult to make ends meet. We are currently still making the product until our materials run out. This is the time to order, as I cannot guarantee how long all products will continue to be available. If you or someone you know is interested in continuing the business, please contact me.
